Hunt Family Movers

Back in October, I asked this company to move some my furniture etc from my home to my storage
I just recently took my belongings out of storage to find my desk ruined
These people badly damaged my desk by putting my steel fire pit on top of my desk and severely scratching it!
Also when they took the desk apart, they broke a lot of the wood and bent a lot of the screws that helped hold the desk together.
I paid these people $1,200+ to destroy my desk?
The desk is now nothing but garbage!
I feel robbed as I hired these people to move my belongings safely, without destroying my furniture!
I would never recommend these people to anyone
I would also like the purchase value of my desk of $340 refunded back to me!

An outstanding moving company. I have moved many times and I have never had such an outstanding experience as I had with Hunt Family Movers. Karina came to my home to do a quote and discuss what I can experience through the move. Everything she said they would do they did and so much more. The movers were very personable and knew exactly what they were doing. They wrapped my furniture so well I didn’t have any damage. Everything looked fantastic. They worked very hard and methodically. Awesome team with little or no breaks. At the end of the move the furniture is reassembled and placed where you want it. After setting up my bed, they made it for me! What a service, they just know how hard this move is in you as a person. I highly recommend Hunts Family Movers and if I move again, you can be sure I would hire them again. Karina, Frank and her movers are outstanding.

My parents were moving from their home of 53 years into Barrie and Karina was wonderful in making the whole experience stress free for all of us. Their closing date for their new home ended up being 3 months later rather than the 1 month we were expecting. Hunt Family Movers were very accommodating in storing my parents possessions for them. Everything arrived in their new home in excellent condition. Both moves were done with the greatest of care and efficiency. I appreciate all they did for us.

We had wonderful service from the Family Hunt Movers.
As an organization, we needed to move office furnishings and computer equipment. The owners made arrangements for totes to be delivered to us which were clean and very easy to use. During the move, the movers where courteous, and were very easy to work with. Everything was delivered, clean, and even put together.

They are exceptional at what they do and do it quickly and efficiently.

I've used Hunt Family Movers several times over the last few years and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Karina, Frank and the team always go the extra mile to help make the experience as smooth and effortless as possible. The little extras they do, such as placing carpet in the major walkways and stairs, wrapping the funiture in blankets etc, all makes a huge difference.

The will also take the time to set up big furniture items like beds and couches/ living room chairs.

If you're in the Barrie/Orillia area and you're looking for a reputable moving company I can't think of anybody better to use.
